The eligibility requirements for former IND athletes are:

• she must have participated at the Varsity level in one or more sports for a period of two complete seasons; and
• she must be a graduate of IND 5 years prior to induction; and
• she must have been recognized by the IND Athletic Program as an outstanding performer during her time at the school; and
• she may have been recognized by local organizations for her athletic prowess (e.g. IAAM, AIS, Catholic League, Baltimore Sun, Catholic Review, etc.); and
• she may have excelled at one or more sports after graduation at other institutions

The eligibility requirements for former coaches and athletic directors are:

• she/he must have served as a coach or administrator for four or more years and IND; and
• she/he must have served to advance the IND Athletic Program in a positive fashion.

Any at-large members of the IND Community recognized for outstanding and special services who were actively engaged in the IND Athletic Program may be considered for nomination.

All nominees shall, in the judgment of the Selection Committee, be an exemplary adult role model consistent with the philosophy of IND.

In the event of extenuating circumstances (e.g. death of a student-athlete or coach, transfers of student-athletes into or out of IND, etc.), any of the above criteria may be waived if the Selection Committee so desires.
