Bio
Coach Washington is a 1996 graduate of Mervo Tech, where she holds the all-time girls basketball scoring record and
all time-service aces in volleyball. An all Baltimore City Performer in volleyball and basketball, Alexis went on
to Xavier University (Ohio). There she competed and worked in the athletic department for four years while earning
a BA in Communications. She also has international basketball experience, having played summer ball in Ireland.
Since 2001, Alexis has coached girls ages 10-17 with the Lady Lions Basketball Association.
