Bio

Coach Jones joined the IND coaching staff as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for the 2008/09 season.  Midway through the season, he was also named the Interim Head Coach of the JV Basketball team and held both positions through the end of season.

Bob lettered in Baseball and Basketball at Archbishop Curley High School.  As a senior, he received 1^st Team Baltimore Sun and 1^st Team News American honors as a Pitcher/Centerfielder.  Drafted in the 15^th round (#380 overall pick) of the June Baseball Draft out of high school by the Minnesota Twins, he spent 2-1/2 seasons in the Twins farm system.  Bob played basketball at Essex Community College while receiving an AA degree in General Studies.  He then went on to Towson University and graduated with a BS (1993) and later a Masters degree (2002) in Computer Science.

Bob's oldest daughter, Brianna, is a 2008 graduate of IND and is now attending Towson University on a Softball Scholarship.  His youngest daughter, Taylor, is in the Class of 2011.  We also are happy that his wife, a Mercy graduate, allowed her daughters to become INDians.
